Mulch Offerings and Prices -
Please note: Our Mulch is sold bulk by the
cubic yard. We also sell bagged material, however, not all bulk material is
available in bags. We do not deliver bagged materials.
Our truck can hold a maximum of 12 yards of Mulch, maximum of 8 yards of Sweet
Peet and a maximum of 4 yards of topsoil. There is a delivery charge depending
on where you live. Please call our store for more details about this. (203)

100 % Hemlock Mulch- $48.00 per cubic
yard -
This is the best Hemlock Mulch Brad has seen in the 12 years of shopping for
mulches. Clearly this product is
expensive, but it has the “prettiest” auburn red color that far and
above brings a nice accent to your beds.
The aroma is wonderful and should hold its color for the majority of the
season. Brad says he is so excited to
have found this product from
Playground Safety
Material - $36.00 per cubic yard-
This material is a specialized ground cover designed for use in a play area for
children. Care has been taken to provide the highest quality in grind
consistency which provides wheelchair accessibility once compacted. State
ordinances generally require a 6 to 12" coverage. The color is a very
light brown almost blond color. This material is IPEMA Certified.
Bark Finishing
Mulch - $40.00 per cubic yard -
This mulch consists of shredded Pine, Hemlock and native bark. This color is a
medium/dark chocolate brown. A great
value for holding the ground, color and general looks in finishing the
landscape.

“The Best Mulch on Earth” This product is the most unique of any
mulch as it is composed pine shavings and stable beddings with natural tannins
flowing through as it ages. Mulching your garden beds with this mulch is a must
for the earthy soil it will help produce. It is excellent in perennial &
annual beds.
Natural Cedar - $43.00
per cubic yard -
This mulch is from northern white cedar trees. The mulch presents a light to
medium gold color with the smell of cedar. The texture is fine and gives an
even and smooth appearance when applied. This mulch tends to interlock due to the
fibrous nature of the bark providing the strongest holding features on a steep
incline. Also available with a Red color enhancement (see below).
Red Cedar - $47.00
per cubic yard -
This mulch is from northern white cedar trees. The mulch has had a red colorant
added. The texture is fine and gives an even and smooth appearance when
applied. This mulch tends to interlock due to the fibrous nature of the bark
providing the strongest holding features on a steep incline.
Black Premium Mulch - $45.00 per
cubic yard -
This mulch is a combination of both soft and hard woods and bark ground fine to
permit the black colorant to be applied and absorbed over a larger surface
area, hence better color retention throughout the summer season. The combination of both materials allow for
better decomposition, adding value to the soil while still providing a smooth
appearance and soft texture when applied.
Rubber Mulch – $900.00 per 3
cubic yard Pallet/1 ton (1 week lead time, available in
Red/Brown/Green/Blue/Cypress)
This is an environmentally safe product designed to hold it’s color for 10 years. Although this product is pricy for this initial application, the payback is over a number of years by not having to re-apply each year. This mulch does not break down, hence not adding any benefit to the soil. It is highly recommended that our landscape fabric be placed first for additional protection as a weed barrier.
