COOPER MULCH HOSTS A BUILD A POND DAY ON ST. PATRICKS DAY

Danbury, CT (March 4, 2004) – Up to fifty landscape experts will gather this St. Patricks Days (March 17) at 4 Delno Drive, Danbury, CT to learn hands-on how to create a beautiful ecologically friendly water feature.

Cooper’s, the areas leading distributor of water gardening products will host a Build-a-Pond Day event at 4 Delno Drive, Danbury, CT as part of a national campaign developed by Aquascape Designs Inc. aimed at educating landscape contractors in building water features that promote the restoration and enhancement of natural habitats.

The Build-A-Pond Day begins at 9am with two instructors from Cooper’s. They will use a unique “hands on” training session not only to teach the contractors to build the water features themselves, but to also teach them the importance of a well balanced ecosystem where fish and plants thrive naturally. By approximately 3:00pm, what began as a barren patch of grass has been magically transformed into a one-of-a-kind water feature.

Water features, according to PK data, are the fastest growing trend nationally in landscaping today and the goal of this Build-A-Pond Day is to make sure that landscapers who build them know the importance of building a beautiful environmentally friendly pond that will leave their customers feeling inspired by nature.
