Announcing: The Second Annual Parade of Ponds
Saturday & Sunday - July 12 & 13, 2003
Hosted by Cooper’s for Family & Children’s Aid

Cooper’s, a leading Mulch, Water Garden and Landscape Supply Company, located in Northern Fairfield County, is hosting the second annual Parade of Ponds. The Parade is a self-guided weekend tour showcasing some of the most beautiful water gardens in Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut and Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess counties in New York. The tour runs Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13th 2003.

Last year, Parade of Ponds raised over $6,000 to support Family and Children’s Aid, a United Way sponsored agency. This year proceeds will benefit the Family and Children’s Aid, as well as other local charities. The Parade of Ponds is an event intended to raise money for charity, while creating interest in water gardening and satisfying the curiosity of many people who have thought about a water garden but were unsure of where to go or how to get started. This year’s tour promises to be relaxing and educational at the same time. Guests will be able to view different types of ponds, waterfalls, streams, fish, and aquatic plants, as well as, creative uses for benches, lighting, decks, gazebos, bridges, and statuary.
