Danbury, Connecticut – June 30, 2004 –The 3rd annual Parade of Ponds, a self-guided

pond tour sponsored by Cooper’s is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 10th & 11th. It

will feature over 100 backyard water gardens in the surrounding counties of Dutchess,

Putnam, Westchester, Fairfield & Litchfield. The $20 per person donation is a fundraiser for

the Waterbury Area and Western CT Red Cross, as well as the Family & Children’s aid and

Green Chimney charities. As a contributor you receive a booklet of the locations, directions,

and descriptions of the water gardens to tour at your leisure.

“The quality of ponds on this year’s tour is incredible. There really is something for

everyone to enjoy. If you like quiet small ponds or large water features with multiple

waterfalls, you are sure to find a pond that excites you,” says Brad Cooper, owner of
