Cooper's Expands Staff & Marketing in Water Gardening

Danbury, Connecticut – March 4, 2004 – Cooper's (Cooper Mulch & More) on the Danbury/Ridgefield line, recently announced expansion plans for its water gardening business by hiring two more staffers.

We are expanding in the water garden market, by offering educational classes, seminars, field training as well as sales to retail outlets in our neighboring five counties," said Lyn Cooper, owner.

The company has recently hired a general manager and marketing event planner.

Gary Marino was named General Manager, with 20 years of experience in engineering and data services and 10 years of experience with chains and mid-sized retail companies, most recently with Northup Grumman in Norwalk.

Kelly Pacowta filled the marketing post with several years of marketing experience, most recently with Unicomm out of Milford. Her primary function will be to plan and execute 15 different events the company hosts each year and maintain its web site.

Brad Cooper will now be on the road visiting contractors, garden centers and nurseries selling water garden products and educational programs. Kevin Roche will be support this growth by providing the field consulting and training.

Cooper's located on Miry Brook Road, Danbury Airport South, annually sponsors the Parade of Ponds, a fund raiser for local charities. In 2001, the company became a ProPond Distributor, representing Aquascape Designs, the largest water garden supplier in North America.
